I'm a published poet with seven years performance experience under my belt. My work typically encompasses black comedy, irreverent storytelling, and the occasional actually sincere poem...I know, I know, just trust me it'll all be fine.

 

Having cut my teeth on various open mics across the UK I also spent two years compering an arts stage at Liverpool Sound City which really helped me hone my craft and expertise at dealing with whatever the room throws at me - including literal projectiles at times. When not performing poetry, I also write short fiction, plays, and screenplays. I have an MA in Creative Writing and I'm also a graduate of the Everyman Theatre's New Playwrights Programme and the Royal Court Stage Write Programme.
