Poetry

I've been performing poetry live for over six years, doing various featured sets and open mics across the UK. My poetry has been published in the Manchester Anthology for New Writing and Under The Fable, and my poem 'A Bang Average Love Poem' was shortlisted for the Wergle Flomp Humour Poetry Competition.

I am also a previous winner of the Writing on the Wall Poetry Slam, finalist at the Liverpool Lovely Word Poetry Slam, and below you can watch the short film 'The Quality of Mersey' which I was featured in reading my commissioned poem 'A Poem From Another Place'.

 

I have featured twice as the featured poet at the Everyman Theatre in Liverpool as well as at the Reader Mansion in Calderstone's Park. Other events where I have performed featured poetry sets include The Secret Circus, The Come Together Festival, Blast!, The Wordsmith, and The New Mersey Poets at Jimmy's. 

Additionally, for the last few years I have performed at Liverpool's Sound City Festival, even compering the Unusual Art Sourcing stage in the years 2016 and 2017.
